Company History

David
R Whitcher Builder, Inc. was founded in the spring of 1967 and later
incorporated in 1971. Its
mission was to develop a reputation as a respected builder offering
quality and value within the A
good deal of our early work focused on the development of municipal and
community related projects. During
the 1970s, we constructed the Our

As the 1980s began, we developed a solid base of both residential
and commercial/community clients. Whitcher

department and became involved in several formal training programs.
By 1990, over 75% of our business was commercial in nature, with
more than 60% of these public projects. Over
the past ten years, Whitcher Builders has risen to the top tier among
building contractors, regarded as a highly respected competitor in the Other
recent work includes an airline terminal at Madbury Fire Station,
Atkinson Fire Station, Hampton Police Department, J-Pac Manufacturing
, Durham Community Church,
Maplewood Elementary School, and a number of State of Whitcher
Builders remains committed to quality construction and continuing to
expand its staff, equipment and procedures so as to retain its high
stature. Our Construction Management
teams have successfully demonstrated their knowledge and abilities
working within the Construction Management and General Contracting
framework. Over
the last several years, the following projects have been successfully
completed using these project delivery systems:
Wentworth Country Club, Pease Bus Terminal, Seabrook Welcome Center,
Granite State Independent Living, The Farragut at Kennebunk Assisted
Living Complex, Sunrise Health Care, Bellamy River Village, Secretariat
Estates, and Meredith Bay Village. In
